Kanye West Just Debuted A New Song At Coachella

Despite having pulled out of a headlining set at Coachella just days before the lineup was announced, Kanye West has…performed a set at Coachella.

The performance kicked off bright and early Sunday morning as part of Kanye’s ‘Sunday Service’ performance series, and West giving a 26-song gospel set on Easter Sunday is peak Yeezy.

The set was packed full of classic West songs that were reinterpreted into gospel versions. There was also a number of special guests, like Teyana Taylor, Kid Cudi, DMX and Chance The Rapper – the latter of which will be in the country in July for a headline set of his own at Splendour In The Grass.

It was also streamed through YouTube, but – in typical Kanye fashion – rather annoyingly as it was done through the view style of a peephole. Standard.

But, most importantly, Kanye played a brand spanking new song. According to CNN, the song is called ‘Water’ and West performed it directly after performing a classic of his, ‘All Falls Down.’

“This a new joint right here, it’s called ‘Water,'” West reportedly said.

We’ll wait and see how long it takes Kanye to release this new track, but judging by how prolific he’s been over the past 12 months, it shouldn’t take too long.
