Everyone’s fave local drumming machine, G Flip, is keeping the momentum going after her huge 2018 with a brand spanking new single ‘I Am Not Afraid.’
Now, if you’ve been one of the lucky ones to catch G Flip live, this song will sound familiar to you as she’s been playing it on the live circuit for a little bit now, most recently at the various legs of St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival.
“Everyone has roadblocks in life, tough situations that are hard to get through and the only way to overcome them are to say ‘I Am Not Afraid’,” Flip (real name Georgia Flipo) said in a statement.
“Whether it’s getting out of a toxic relationship, coming out to your family or getting bullied. Life throws shit at you and you have to be brave. You have to stand tall and rise above it.”
If you haven’t caught G Flip live before, then you’re in luck. She’s playing this year’s Groovin The Moo festival, which kicks off this weekend, as well as embarking on a sold out headlining tour.
