If Your Password Is ‘Blink-182’, You Might Want To Change That

Bad news for those Blink-182 fans who thought they’d use the band’s name for their passwords – it’s one of the most hacked passwords around the world, according to recently revealed information.

According to Rolling Stone, the UK government’s National Cyber Security Centre have revealed a list of the 100,000 most hacked passwords across the world, and a few familiar band names rank pretty highly.

‘blink182’ is the worst offender, just missing out on the top 100. Other band and artist names that make it on to the list include ‘slipknot’, ‘metallica’, ’50cent’ and ’eminem.’

In case you were wondering, the most hacked password is ‘123456’ so if your password is that you might want to stop reading this article and go and change that pronto.
