PREMIERE: Sydney’s Oly Sherman Unveils New Uplifting Indie Folk Hymn ‘Bones’

Sydney songwriter Oly Sherman brings captivating, drama-infused blues vibes on his fresh indie folk hymn, ‘Bones’.

Premiering exclusively via Music Feeds below, ‘Bones’ is awash with dynamic, tinkering-on-foreboding melodies and uplifting, crescendoing percussion, mirroring the headspace Sherman was in when creating the track.

“’Bones’ to me is about the feeling that something’s coming within yourself, and you don’t know whether it’s something great or something that could break you,” he explains. “It’s been a big year for me emotionally, and I wanted to create something that people could just dance to. I feel like whatever headspace people are in, songs like this can make people feel stronger and happier.”

Fans of Matt Corby and Ziggy Alberts best pay attention.

Sherman will be taking the single on the road starting this month for a string of NSW tour dates. Catch details below, but first give ‘Bones’ its first spin.
