You’ve probably heard by now that there’s a The Lion King remake on its way. The hyper realistic new film is set to feature Beyonce as Nala and Donald Glover as Simba. Now, we have another teaser for it, featuring a Beyonce and Donald duet of ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight’ and we’re not crying, you are.
The Lion King is out Friday, 19th of July and will see Billy Eichner voice Timon and Seth Rogen voice Pumbaa — who’s keen to hear a revised ‘Hakuna Matata’?
Obviously there’s plenty of that nostalgia factor to the upcoming film but you’ve also got an all-star cast, aside from Yonce, Glover, Rogen, and Eichner. Also appearing in The Lion King will be: John Oliver, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and James Earl Jones
The Lion King is set to have a huge opening after the Aladdin remake’s opening clocking $113 million (and let’s face it, Lion King trumps Aladdin). Back to the point, Beyonce and Donald Glover singing Elton John’s ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight’? Bloody beautiful. Even if we only have 30 seconds to go off.
