South-West Sydney Festival Soft Centre Share First Round Of 2019 Artists

South-West Sydney festival Soft Centre have announced their first round of sound and visual artists set to be appearing at the festival’s third instalment this Saturday, 14 September.

Returning to its home at the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, the two-time FBi Radio SMAC Award winning “festival of dark abstraction” will be transforming the CPAC into a haven of experimental sound, performance art and large-scale light installations for a day of immersive experiences.

Organisers have spent the last three years establishing the event as one that exists outside of the usual festival billing cycle, and instead, creating a multi-sensory experience that is unparalleled.

There will be multiple on-site spaces for site-specific installations, as well as four music stages, including the festival’s expansion into CPAC’s theatre space and the return of the Georges River stage, dedicated to DJs and producers from the Greater Western Sydney region.

On the sound front, Soft Centre will be hosting three international artists in Congo & Belgium live musician, DJ and curator Nkisi and Shanghai imprint SVBKVLT innovators 33EMYBW and Gooooose.
