BROCKHAMPTON Announce Fifth Studio Album ‘Ginger’, Set For Release Next Month

BROCKHAMPTON have teased a new album via Instagram. The Instagram video features a snippet of a new track, quickly overlaid shots of the BROCKHAMPTON members, and a final graphic that reads: “Ginger, August 2019” with a subheading: “the fifth studio album by BROCKHAMPTON”.

The Californian rap group will follow up their fourth album, Iridescence with Ginger. Iridescence was released in September last year and was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London.

Their last album was also their first release following the allegations against Ameer Vann and his departure from the group.

BROCKHAMPTON debuted a song off of the upcoming release during their set at at Bilbao BBK Live last weekend, watch it below.

Kevin Abstract has told GQ in an interview last month that the Ginger is a “feel-good album”.

“We want to make a summer album. Feel-good,” he said in the interview.

“Not too sad and like, ‘Oh, our life sucks,’ just more like, ‘Just enjoy what’s in front of you.”

Check out the post below along with their track ‘New Orleans’.

BROCKHAMPTON will headline FOMO Festival early next year.
