Tool Have Uploaded Several Of Their Classic Music Videos To YouTube

Tool‘s growing acceptance of digital platforms has gone a step further, with the band sharing several classic music videos in HD on YouTube.

With Fear Inoculum – the band’s first album in 13 years – out now, the alt-metal icons have shared several of their typically unsettling, usually stop-motion music videos to the internet in high def. The visuals for ‘Vicarious’, ‘Stinkfist’, ‘Prison Sex’, ‘Parabola’, ‘Ænema’, ‘Schism’ and ‘Sober’ are all up on the band’s channel now.

This year has seen Tool embrace streaming in a way they never have before, establishing themselves as one of rock’s biggest hold-outs on digital platforms before making their entire back catalogue available for streaming last month.

Throughout their career, the majority of the music videos Tool have released have been predominantly created by guitarist Adam Jones, often collaborating Chet Zar, Osseus Labyrint and Alex Grey – whose artwork has long been used by the band.

Check out the eerie videos for ‘Sober’ and ‘Schism’ below, and check out the rest via the band’s official YouTube channel.
