It’s undeniable that Perth’s multi-event summer music extravaganza Ice Cream Factory Summer Festival is absolutely dripping with talent — and more has just been added!
International house guru Claptone and USA producer Robert DeLong have both joined this year’s festivities, headlining two brand new artist-stacked shows on the creamy 2019 itinerary.
DeLong will headline a party on December 22 with support from Aussie faves The Kite String Tangle, Young Franco, Cassian [DJ Set] and Dena Amy, while Claptone will close out the fest’s Habitat Garden Party on December 27 atop a lineup that also features Dom Dolla, Friendly Fires [DJ Set], Amine Edge & DANCE, Noir, Made in Paris and Sama’.
The exciting new additions join an already stellar lineup including Girl Talk [USA], Peking Duk [DJ Set], Example [UK], The Jungle Giants, Thundamentals, LDRU, Confidence Man, Haiku Hands, Bag Raiders, Miami Horror, Hook N Sling and more.
FYI Ice Cream Factory Summer Festival is Perth’s biggest music festival, attracting 65,000 people from across the country annually as it kicks off the summer season with a month filled with musical action.
This year also features a festival first in the form of the Red Bull Zipline – which is pretty much exactly what it sounds like — i.e. an 11-metre high, 50-metre long zipline, where you can soar high over the dancefloor at the packed out shows (RedBull gives you wings, after all).
