A Video Posted By Newcastle’s Kotara High School Trying To Get KISS To Visit Has Gone Viral

Legendary band KISS are mere weeks away from touching down in Australia for their final ever Aussie tour. One of the stops on the tour includes a performance at the Supercars Newcastle 500, and a local school has gone viral with their efforts to get the band to visit.

Kotara High School posted a video to their Facebook page, showing that they have given the entire institution a complete KISS-inspired makeover.

Spearheaded by the school’s principal, Mark Snedden, the video shows admin staff in KISS makeup, students being reprimanded and punished for not wearing KISS makeup, and even a tribute performance to the band lead by the principal himself.

“Kotara High School have completed a video message that we are trying to get to the US band KISS,” the principal wrote.

“The band are playing at the V8 Supercars on the weekend of the 22nd of November and we are requesting that they come to our school during their time in Newcastle to say hello to our students and staff.”

“The video message was compiled completely by students and staff of the school. I am asking that our community, and beyond, share the video in the hope that it will reach the band and convince them to come and see our fantastic school.”

Watch the video below, and be sure to send it to KISS’ – and the individual members – social media accounts.
