Get Ready To Be Björn Again Because ABBA Say They’re Dropping New Music This Year

Swedish pop icons ABBA might just release some new music this year…or they might not. When it comes to ABBA-related affairs (not those kind), ABBA haven’t proven themselves to be the most reliable of sources.

But today’s news comes via member Björn Ulvaeus who spoke to CNBC, and he believes that the band’s first music since 1982 will be arriving this year.

“I think sometime this year,” he said.

“Yes, I think so.”

Fellow band member Benny Andersson said, as reported by pedestrian.tv, in February that new music from the group would be coming towards the end of year.

Of course, little did he know that we would be facing a global pandemic and the world would essentially stop, but let’s be a little optimistic, shall we?

Now, it should be noted that this news comes after the band cruelly never delivered their promise of new music in 2018, despite those songs being already recorded.

But with the Mamma Mia hype seeming to never leave us, it would seem foolish not to capitalise on this, especially when we all need to feel like dancing queens right now.
