Listen To Chelsea Peretti’s New EP Featuring Kathleen Hanna, The Kid Mero And More

Comedian and Brooklyn Nine-Nine favourite Chelsea Peretti has released her second EP for the year, a collection titled Phosphorescent Panic that follows on from her Foam and Flotsom EP back in April.

In addition to the five tracks on the previous EP, Phosphorescent Panic includes five new tracks with a host of new collaborators. ‘EXPRESSO’ features Big Mouth‘s Nick Kroll along with The Kid Mero of The Desus and Mero Show. ‘BDR’, meanwhile, features Bikini Kill/Le Tigre frontwoman Kathleen Hanna. Elsewhere, there are features from rapper Wale, comedian/musician Reggie Watts, Kate Berlant and Money Mark.

As with Foam and Flotsom, many of the tracks on the new EP revolve around the subject of coffee. Both EPs serve as a precursor to Peretti’s forthcoming full-length album, which is expected later this year.

Last year, Peretti starred in the Andrea Dorfman-directed film Spinster.

The Berlant and Watts-featuring ‘JAVADAWGS’ arrives alongside an animated music video created by Vincent Scala. Check it out below and pour yourself a warm cup of caffeinated goodness courtesy of the whole EP here.
