The 411:

Brisbane scene veterans We Set Signals recently unleashed their latest full-length album ORDO through US label We Are Triumphant. Notably, all tracks on the LP were written, recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by vocalist & all-around gun Nick Wilkinson, with additional songwriting & production by the rest of the bands.

“We’re really stoked to finally be getting this record out,” Wilkinson said. “It’s a concept album that follows a normal guy who predicts the end of the world – and tracks his survival from there. I’ve been a fan of the pop culture surrounding this topic in movies and games for a while now, so the concept was really easy to relate to and to express!”

ORDO is out now everwhere and you can grab it right here.

Review:

These local scene veterans are back in a big way, delivering a blast of sophisticated, industrial-laced modern metalcore that weaves an apocalyptic narrative across its ten compelling tracks. From its venomous breakdowns to its stadium-sized choruses and slick, stacked production, the towering scale of ORDO is made even more impressive by its creators’ 100% DIY ethos. This pumps hard.
