Famed Cellist Yo-Yo Ma Plays Impromptu Concert In Vaccine Waiting Area

It seems French-born American cello prodigy Yo-Yo Ma was in the mood to celebrate after getting his second jab of the COVID vaccine.

To toast his imminent immunity to the dreaded virus, the globally renowned musician busted out his cello and treated frontline health workers at the Berkshire Community College field clinic to a surprise concert.

People waiting in the observation area were also treated to the orchestral guerrilla gig.

According to local paper The Berkshire Eagle, the famed cellist “wanted to give something back”, so he sat himself down along the wall of the observation area, wearing a mask and socially distanced away from other inoculeesk, and let rip a 15-minute cello serenade, finishing to a round of joyous applause.

Too pure.
