It’s official: Gang Of Youths have revealed that their new song, ‘The Angel Of 8th Ave.’, will be dropping next week.
After what feels like weeks of cryptic teasers that told fans little but managed to get them worked up into a frenzy, the band took to Instagram to confirm when their first song in four years would be released.
‘The Angel Of 8th Ave.’ will drop at 2am AEST on Wednesday, 16th June. If you’re in Britain, it’ll drop at the far more sensible time of 5pm GMT on Tuesday, 15th June.

The excitement around Gang Of Youths’ return first came when the band began updating their social media pages with new images, specifically of punching bags and boxing gloves.
Then, the band joined TikTok to tease ‘The Angel Of 8th Ave.’, though at the time it was unclear what the title was referring to.
Finally, earlier this week, posters went up around the country providing a number that fans could call to hear a snippet of the song, their first track since the release of 2017’s Go Farther In Lightness.
