The Twelfth Doctor, Peter Capaldi Is Planning To Release His Debut Album

The twelfth doctor in the Doctor Who series, Peter Capaldi is now planning to release his debut album.

According to The Sun, a source has confirmed Capaldi spent lockdown working on the album, with plans to release it later this year.

“Peter has been a huge music fan for years and was doing that before his acting career properly took off,” a “music insider” told The Sun.

Peter Capaldi was the lead singer of Dreamboys, a punk rock band from the ’80s. UK comedian, Craig Ferguson was also in the band.

“[His acting career] stopped him from singing and making music for a while but in recent years he has got back into it and put some music out just for the joy of it,” said the source.

“But when the lockdown struck, it felt like the perfect opportunity to get his head down and work on a full project of his own.”

They reckon the album is currently in the mixing stage, saying, “It shouldn’t be too long before fans get to hear it.”

“He is not expecting it to be as big as Lewis’s records but Peter has really enjoyed working on it and reckons that his followers will like it.”

They’re referring to Lewis Capaldi of course, who is a distant relative of Peter’s. Peter is Lewis Capaldi’s father’s second cousin.

The pair met for the first time back in 2018. Peter then appeared in the music video for ‘Someone You Loved’ the following year.
