Lil Uzi Vert’s $24 Million Diamond Implant Was Apparently Torn from His Forehead During a Stagedive

Lil Uzi Vert says overzealous fans at a recent show caused his $24 million diamond implant to be torn from his forehead by the crowd. Over the weekend, TMZ shared a video where a paparazzi notices and inquires about the missing jewellery, asking the rapper if he’s still got it.

“Yes. I had a show at Rolling Loud and I jumped in the crowd and they kind of ripped it out,” Lil Uzi replies, with the cameraman asking how he’s feeling following the incident at the Miami festival, which took place in late July. “I’m feeling good. I still have the diamond so I feel good.”

Lil Uzi originally got the 10-carat pink diamond implanted in his forehead back in February of this year, saying at the time that it was the most expensive item he owned and he’d been paying it off slowly over instalments since 2017. Around the time it was put in, the rapper commented that he got the accessory implanted so he wouldn’t lose it – “I know me. I wake up in odd places and different sceneries.”

He temporarily removed the diamond from his head in June after it caused some bleeding, but had it put back in the following month. Whether he’ll be popping the diamond back in once again following its unplanned removal at Rolling Loud remains to be seen.
