Father John Misty is set to have released a new greatest-hits album titled Greatish Hits: I Followed My Dreams and My Dreams Said to Crawl. This collection brings together popular tracks from his albums Fear Fun (2012), I Love You, Honeybear (2015), Pure Comedy (2017), God’s Favorite Customer (2018), and Chloë and the Next 20th Century (2022). It also includes his 2016 single “Real Love Baby” and features a brand-new song, “I Guess Time Just Makes Fools of Us All,” which will close the compilation.

The album will be available physically on August 16 through Sub Pop. Father John Misty, whose real name is Joshua Tillman, began his career in 2012 with Fear Fun, but his earlier work as J. Tillman will not be included in this compilation.
According to a recent press release, Father John Misty is also planning to release a new album later in 2024, which will feature the new track “I Guess Time Makes Fools of Us All.”
