Whitney Houston has died aged 48. The cause of death is still unknown, however there is speculation the singer may have committed suicide.
Houston was found dead at Beverly Hilton Hotel; paramedics reportedly tried to revive Houston but were unsuccessful. According to sources, Houston’s friends found her in her hotel room about 3:30 p.m. and immediately called 911; she was pronounced dead a short time later. According to dividedstates, her body was found in the her hotel room bathtub.

Update: The Whitney Houston autopsy has been completed, there will be no cause of death until toxicology results are revealed in 4-6 weeks.

A Police Spokesperson said:
There were no obvious signs of criminal intent at this time, and it is being investigated by the Beverly Hills Police Department.
Most media outlets are reporting that the singer died of a drug overdose, alcohol poisoning or a possible suicide.
Houston was photographed leaving a pre-Grammy’s party on February 10th looking unsteady on her feet with visible blood trickling down her legs and a bloody looking cut or scratch on one of her wrists.
The Grammy Awards night is now being re-organised as a tribute to Houston and it is rumoured that Jennifer Hudson has been asked to pay tribute to Whitney.
