Robert Plant Ready For Led Zeppelin Reunion

Robert Plant has suggested he is open to a Led Zeppelin reunion tour next year. In a recent interview with 60 Minutes the legendary frontman hinted it was not he that is resistant to the possibility of reforming for more than just a special one-off gig.

When reporter Tara Brown noted that Plant takes the majority of the blame for Zepplin’s continued hiatus since their 2007 reunion show, captured on Celebration Day, Plant said it was his willingness to remain a public figure that often sees him saddled with the responsibility of a possible reunion tour.

“The two other guys [Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones] are Capricorns and…they don’t say a word. But they are quite contained in their own worlds and they leave it to me,” said Plant. “I’m not the bad guy… You need to speak to the Capricorns because I’ve got nothing to do in 2014.”

For now, Australian fans will be treated to Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters who are headlining Bluesfest 2013, as well as playing a handful of headlining shows.
