Oasis and Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher has declared his love of Justin Bieber once again. The Brit-pop stalwart sang the praises of the 19-year-old Canadian popstar to Shortlist, saying:
Anyone who goes on 2 hours late is fucking right in my book, man. All these so-called rock bands that sit backstage going, ‘Hey, let’s wait 15 minutes’. Fuck that, wait 2 hours and 15 minutes! He’s kicked the fucking arse out of it – no one will beat that, ever. So get off his fucking back, man: I am a Belieber!
Ol’ Liam’s been a fan of Bieber for some time now, taking to Twitter last month to declare, “Wow Yeah Justin Bieber Rules!”, after The Biebs had a scuffle with a photographer.
It seems 40-year-old Gallagher ain’t mellowing out with age. Beady Eye are set to release their second album BE on 10th June, including a song Liam wrote about his brother Noel Gallagher, called Don’t Brother Me. The record’s lead single Flick Of The Finger was released earlier this week.
And Gallagher’s not the first unlikely Belieber of late, with Odd Future frontman Tyler, The Creator telling Billboard that he loves Bieber but not his music, after a song he co-wrote for Bieber with Frank Ocean didn’t make it on the Believe album.
