English indie trio Daughter are bringing their gorgeous tunes our way for Splendour In The Grass 2013 and they’ve just locked in 2 sideshows for Melbourne and Sydney ahead of their festival appearance this July.
Daughter was once upon a time the solo project of the glorious Elena Tonra, before being rounded out to a 3-piece by Igor Haefeli and Remi Aguilell. They caught our attention with their beautiful full-length debut, If You Leave, released last March to critical acclaim. Their atmospheric tunes are hard to classify, with a seemingly contradictory combination of strength and fragility, making this act something pretty special to witness.
