In what has to rank as the biggest year since the group’s inception, Clubfeet are maintaining momentum by capping off 2013 with big news. They’ve announced the release of a remix package of their acclaimed album Heirs & Graces, a national DJ tour, plus a J Award nomination to boot.
Heirs & Graces: The Remixes is slated for digital release on Friday, 22nd November and features sublime work from locals Ta-ku, Panama, Guerre and Lancelot, alongside mixes from internationals Joyce Muniz, Mercury, Aashton, ATTAR! and All Dom Wrong.
To celebrate this special new release, Clubfeet will be hitting up all five mainland capitals for a DJ tour. Dubbed the ‘Wet & Mild’ tour, the shows will kick off Saturday, 30th November at Bowler Bar in Brisbane, hitting Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth before a show at Cakes at World Bar in Sydney.
Meanwhile, the band’s clip for Everything You Wanted has just been nominated for a J Award in the category of Best Music Video. The clip is currently sitting at 800,000 plays across YouTube and Vimeo, infamously spawning copycat videos from artists in Japan and Turkey.
The band recently reconvened in the studio to begin work on the follow-up to Heirs & Graces, due out in 2014, but you can catch them before that sure-to-be-massive release by checking out the dates and venues listed below.
