Game Of Thrones Season 4 Already In The Pipeline

Oh man, if only the characters from Game Of Thrones knew how far they were from achieving anything. One of the show’s actors has let slip that season 4 of the franchise is already well on its way.

According to NME, this news wasn’t meant to be revealed yet, but Tywin Lannister is as sly in real life as he is on the battle field. Charles Dance (his real name) added that the show will 100% be returning on HBO in 2014.

“We’re about to start season four aren’t we? This year,” He said at a press conference. Dance further elaborated that GOT works further into its future than most series:

“We get scripts pretty early on – much earlier on than in similar series. Usually you get perhaps one episode and you just have to trust that what’s going to come in subsequent episodes is going to be as good as the one you’ve got. But in this I think there are six scripts already written, and we will probably be able to see them with more than adequate time to prepare before we start shooting.”

This may be a little too much to process right now as the first episode of the 3rd season aired only just the other day, but if there’s one thing we’ve learnt from season 1 and season 2, it’s that these seasons simply don’t last long enough, and soon you’re gonna be fiending information on when you can get your next fix.

What does this have to do with music you ask? Well, Coldplay’s drummer Will Champion will be making a cameo in the series as the only thing a drummer can play…another drummer and Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody will also be involved in an episode. Who knows, potentially as Gary from Snow Patrol, surely they’ve heard of that band in King’s Landing.
