Get Ready To Sink Your Teeth Into The New HBO Reboot Of True Blood

Before Twilight had the world vampire obsessed, it was the incredibly psychosexual True Blood, originally produced by HBO, that had us by its fangs. And now, a reboot to the wildly popular series has been announced.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, the series is being rebooted with original showrunner Alan Ball returning to executive produce it. It’s reportedly in early stages of development.

Ball won’t be writing the new series though. Instead, Riverdale and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa will be teaming up with NOS4A2′s Jami O’brien to provide the script.

While HBO has declined to comment on the reboot as of yet, it would be amiss for them not to take this opportunity, considering how much of a hit the series was for the network.

None of the original stars have revealed themselves as part of the reboot, including Oscar winner Anna Paquin, Stephen Boyer or Alexander Skarsgard.
