That rebooted Mighty Ducks series is dropping on Disney+ in just under two months and we now have the trailer. It’s a reboot that’s spooked the Ducks’ die hards.
Announced back in 2019, the story, which has been adapted into a series, will follow the main character, a 13 year-old boy, Evan Morrow played by Brady Noon. He gets cut from his hockey team.
The initial storyline seems super off-brand for the Anaheim team, but we’re still filled with hope for the new series.
Evan and his mother, played by Lauren Graham end up building their own hockey team with Coach Gordon Bombay. Bombay is still played by the OG Emilio Estevez — offering fans some redemption.
The new series is called The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers and will run across 10 episodes. Steve Brill co-created the entire series — he played writer, creator, and executive producer on each Mighty Ducks film.
It’ll premiere on Friday, 26th March on Disney+. Watch the trailer below.
