Soon to be in town as an integral part of the musical landscape for this year’s Melbourne Festival, neo-soul crooner Cody ChesnuTT called in to Music Feeds Studio for a much-needed catch up. Given that it’s been more than six years since ChesnuTT was in town, we had a lot to talk about.
He may have been moments away from walking on stage in Alabama, but Cody was more than happy to tackle our burning questions. Rest assured, it was nothing we did back in 2006 to keep him away. Rather, ChesnuTT took the opportunity to re-asses his life and his priorities.
Having released his latest album Landing On A Hundred back in February last year, new music is expected to arrive in the near future, and he explained that it may not be such a long gap for fans this time round. Work has apparently already begun – that said, this is a man who likes to take his time with music to avoid getting it wrong.
