PREMIERE: Melbourne Punks Bad Juju Unleash Ripper Debut EP ‘Hidden Desire’

Melbourne shooting stars Bad Juju have planted their flag firmly in the soil with the arrival of their debut EP, Hidden Desire.

The ripping six-tracker showcases their signature blend of punk, grunge and post-hardcore, featuring their highly triple j-frothed track ‘Moving On’ and previous singles ‘Bloom’ and ‘Run Away’.

The theme of mental health permeates the record, with the band explaining that “Hidden Desire explores how people deal with loss, anxiety, and depression, but moves into pushing these issues aside and trying to change our lives for the better, thinking positively going forward”.

To celebrate the arrival of their debut disc, the five-piece will also be hitting the road on a tour across the nation, kicking off supporting Trophy Eyes in Melbourne tomorrow night.
