Yothu Yindi – Treaty

Seminal German musician Michael Rother will be celebrating 50 years of NEU! – the band he co-founded in 1971 – at ΩHM. There’ll be a performance from no wave hero Lydia Lunch in partnership with Joseph Keckler. Preeminent Australian instrumental group The Necks will head to Brisbane for the occasion, and there’ll be a bunch of free shows, including one from Zamrock legends WITCH.

Alongside the music and visual art, there’ll be a number of dance events, including Colossus by Stephanie Lake Company, THREE by Australasian Dance Collective, and Chunky Move’s Universal Estate, which will be free entry.

The festival is curated by the Brisbane Powerhouse Arts Program Director Brad Spolding in association with the composer and ambient artist Lawrence English.
