73-Year-Old Mick Jagger Just Became A Dad For The Eighth Time

Proving his Stones haven’t stopped rolling even at the ripe old age of 73, Sir Mick Jagger has just fathered his eighth child.

The legendary rock n’ roll frontman, who’d already spawned a dynasty after procreating seven children with four different women and becoming a great-grandfather in 2014, welcomed bub number eight into the world on Thursday.

As BBC reports, his 29-year-old American ballerina girlfriend, Melanie Hamrick, gave birth to a baby boy in New York, with Jagger’s publicist saying the happy couple were “both delighted”.

“Mick was at the hospital for the arrival,” the publicist added. “Mother and baby are doing well and we request that the media respect their privacy at this time.”

The Rolling Stones frontman started dating Hamrick following the 2014 suicide of his partner of 13 years, L’Wren Scott.

Jagger has now sired eight offspring to five different mums, with the hatchlings’ ages ranging from newborn right through to 45-years-old (thus proving once and for all that very few people have got the moves like Jagger).

And hey, there could be worse things than having one of the greatest rock n’ roll frontmen of all time as your old man. Just sayin’.
