Falls Festival founder Simon Daly has announced The Lost Lands, a three day festival held at Melbourne’s lush Werribee Mansion over the Melbourne Cup weekend, Friday 28th – Sunday 30th October.
The all ages event boasts a lineup of international and local artists including L.A.’s Mariachi El Bronx, The Waifs, Missy Higgins, CW Stoneking, Alex Lahey, The Grates, Architecture In Helsinkim Ali Barter, Harts, Ozomatli and a bunch more.
Featuring a range of arts performances and installations, as well as an extensive selection of food and drink options, The Lost Lands is more of a fun with the family event than a marathon bender. Hoping to “give parents the chance to reconnect with the festival experience, while instilling in kids, a love and appreciation of music, arts and adventure,” Daly is following a more European model of what a festival can be.

Featuring a diverse program on non-musical performers and artists, readings and discussion groups for adults and children, bush walks, bikie riding and workshops in songwriting, cooking, yoga and more, The Lost Lands looks to live up to Daly’s dreams of a more inclusive and European offering.
Meanwhile on the food and drink front, the festival will boast an impressive curated lineup of craft beer, wine, organic spirits, and festival food, with talk of a pop-up distillery and interactive camp kitchen.
With three and two-day camping and glamping options available, if you really want the full luxury experience you can even stay in the actual mansion.
Tickets are on sale now with three, two and single day passes available.
