A string of Australian artists are teaming up for the first ‘Love Music Hate Racism’ event to be held in Australia, after its had enormous success all across the world.

L-FRESH The LION, Sophiegrophy, Nooki and Imbi The Girl will be playing the event when it hits Factory Theatre in Marrickville in June.

The aim of the event is to bring the conversation around racism to the forefront by using music, and is being put on with the help of anti-racism organisation All Together Now.

“Music has the power to bring people from all walks of life together, regardless of their differences,” said L-FRESH The LION.

“A live show can be special in that it has the capacity to spark meaningful conversations and unite people towards a common cause.”
