AC/DC’s ‘Rock Or Bust’ Is All You Could Want From An AC/DC Song

AC/DC have released the title track from their upcoming album Rock Or Bust, and it’s everything you could ever want, or expect, from the legendary Australian rock band.

A very AC/DC crunching guitar riff opens up Rock Or Bust, courtesy of Angus Young and nephew Stevie Young, before troubled drummer Phil Rudd comes in with a meaty drum beat that will instantly have you fist pumping the air.

Then enters the unmistakable voice of frontman Brian Johnson asking those who are about to rock, “Are you Ready?”. Hell, yes, we’re ready! As is AC/DC’s trademark, Johnson’s lyrics are straightforward and memorable.

We be a good time band / We play across the land begins the first verse, before a chorus so simple you’ll only need to hear it once to know all the words. In rock we trust / It’s rock or bust. YES! Of course, there’s a couple of blazing bluesy guitar solos by Angus help close out the track.

Rock Or Bust is catchy, fiery, and instantly recognisable even after just one listen. That’s because AC/DC have long since mastered the chemistry of their formula, which manages to exist even with the band’s lineup in flux.

Hopefully we won’t get a music video as dreadful as green screen fail Play Ball for this one. In AC/DC, and rock, we trust. AC/DC’s new album Rock Or Bust is due out Friday, 28th November. You can crank AC/DC’s Rock Or Bust below.
