Adele Announces First Ever Australian Tour Dates

ORIGINAL STORY: After months of teasing, Adele has finally announced her first every Australian headline tour for February and March 2017.

The pop megastar will play five huge stadium dates across the country, visiting Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. What’s more, it will be a unique 360º in-the-round production, and Adele might even be looking for houses to crash at after each show.

In an interview in July, the British singer-songwriter hinted at the possibility of an Australian tour, and rumours amped up even more earlier this week when a mysterious television commercial aired in Australia and New Zealand, appearing to confirm an announcement was imminent.

While New Zealand shows are yet to be announced, Adele has told fans, “Thinking of you, New Zealand. Stay tuned for more news.”

Adele’s 2015 album 25 has gone eight-times platinum on Australia’s ARIA charts, so we’re betting her debut Aussie dates will sell out in a heartbeat.
