Adele Stops Munich Concert Due To Wardrobe Malfunction Caused By Torrential Rain

Adele stopped her concert in Munich Friday when the torrential rain had made part of her dress unwearable. The highly-anticipated performance in Germany faced some unexpected challenges posed by bad weather.

The 36-year-old singer wore a deep blue dress with a long train, which became soaked from the storm. “Sadly I have to take this gorgeous train off because it is wet and heavy,” she told the crowd. She called over her backing singers, asking, “Girls, can you help me?”

Adele chatted with the audience while her team tried to extract the train from the train. “I got a weather update and it said it wasn’t gonna be raining in time for the show, so I thought, ‘Let me wear this dress with this enormous train on it’ like a right f***y,” she joked. “I was underneath the stage back there.”

She continued humorously, “I can hear you all by the way. You lot in the corner over here on this side, you are a real vibe, but then you had me shook ’cause one of you was like, ‘We can see you under there,’ and I am standing in my underwear!”

When her train was taken away, Adele began the concert again. The show in Munich was the first of Adele’s 10-show run across Germany. Before the concert, she shared a picture on Instagram, showing how excited and nervous she was: “See you soon. I’m b***dy s**tting myself.”

The crowd was in high spirits after such a great way Adele got over the issue, proving once more that even at the most annoying moments when the show goes wrong, she still can perform on the stage with elegance and humor.
