Tailored especially for 12-25 year olds, the Feedback conference, will present attendees with an afternoon of music industry guest speakers, interactive sessions, take-home resources and networking opportunities, aimed at assisting young people in getting a leg up in the highly competitive music business.
From his unique viewpoint, Maddah will address the topic, “Does anybody give a sh*t about young people?”, at the conference to be held at Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art on June 9th, from 1-5pm.
“AJ Maddah is currently one of the few promoters in the country dedicated to offering all ages events across the country,” reads a press statement, “however like many in the Australian music industry, he is operating in a tough regulatory environment that has posed challenges to his events.”
Singer and songwriter Josh Pyke will also appear at the conference with his long-time producer Wayne Connolly to host a songwriting session, offering insight into crafting catchy melodies. While Bluejuice‘s Jake Stone will monitor a discussion panel about the lives of young musicians, featuring Thelma Plum and Winston McCall from Parkway Drive.
The conference will also hold a music industry “speed dating” session, giving attendees the chance to ask leading music industry service providers some questions about who they are, what they do, and how you can access their services.
