Alpine sign to Ivy League Records

Ivy League Records has announced the signing of Melbourne’s band Alpine. They join such luminaries as Cloud Control, Cabins, The Mess Hall, Josh Pyke and Sparkadia.

It has been a whirlwind ride for the band previously known as Swiss, who have been likened to Phoenix, Lykke Li and The XX. Before they even had time to prepare for their first live show, Triple J began playing their demos on air and awarded them the influential ‘JJJ Un-Earthed Feature Artist Of The Week’.

Alpine are currently recording their debut EP and will be playing the final nights of their four-week residency at the Northcote Social Club Tuesday the 24th and 31st August. Doors open at 8pm.
