The Amity Affliction haven’t even wrapped up their latest national tour yet, but that hasn’t stopped them from announcing another one.
The metalcore titans will be returning home for a victory lap after wrapping up their godzilla-sized This Could Be Heartbreak world trek, which kicks off on home turf this month before heading to the US, Canada, Europe and UK.
Following the completion of the tour in December, the band will kick off the New Year with their previously announced performance at Perth’s brand new heavy music festival Redfest, before embarking on a massive run of headlining regional dates across Australia, under the banner of the Death To Misery tour.
They’ve announced 13 shows for a mix of both 18+ and all ages fans, which includes stops in Adelaide, Cairns, Townsville, the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast, Coffs Harbour, Newcastle, Wollongong, Canberra, Frankston, Geelong and Hobart, plus their first hometown show in Gympie in 10 bloody years!
They’re also taking some very special guests along for the ride in the form of UNFD bros Hellions and Ocean Grove.
Meanwhile, Amity’s fifth studio album This Could Be Heartbreak has just hit shelves. Catch our interview with bassist and clean vocalist Ahren Stringer here, and check out all the details from the band’s latest tour announcement, below.
