Amy Shark Just Found Two Stowaways On Board Her UK Tour Bus Trying To “Sneak Across The Border”

On the heels of her earworm 2018 single ‘I Said Hi’ placing 5th in triple j‘s Hottest 100 this past weekend, Amy Shark has described a “SCARY” ordeal on board her UK tour bus.

The Aussie indie-pop favourite claims she found two stowaways trying to use the vehicle as something of a Trojan Horse to smuggle themselves across the border from Brussels into the United Kingdom.

Taking to Twitter, Sharkie described the whole experience as “SCARY”.

“We just found two people hiding in our tour bus, in the luggage carrier, trying to sneak across the border into the UK,” she writes. “No idea how they got in there or who they are or their plans. I didn’t think this stuff happened I’m so naive hey. Everyone’s ok though.”

The Gold Coast native, who’s currently touring the crap out of Europe, gave more info to the ABC, revealing that it wasn’t she herself who made the startling discovery.

“My team found them when preparing merchandise for the show, they picked their bags up and walked out and didn’t say a word,” Shark explained. “I was asleep on the bus.”

She continued: “People do dangerous things to get a better life somewhere else. I feel for them but it definitely still gave my team a shock and a fright… [but] I understand how desperate their situation probably is.”

ICYMI when Shark returns down under, she’ll be embarking on her biggest Australian headlining tour to date.
