The Kid LAROI, Amy Shark And More To Perform At 2021 ARIA Awards

The 2021 ARIA Awards will feature performances from The Kid LAROI, Amy Shark, Genesis Owusu, Budjerah, RÜFÜS DU SOL and Gretta Ray.

Shark and Owusu are the two most-nominated acts at this year’s awards. Shark’s Cry Forever is going up against Owusu’s Smiling With No Teeth in the Album of the Year category. Cry Forever is also up for Best Pop Release, while Shark’s Keith Urban-featuring single ‘Love Songs Ain’t For Us’ is in the running for Song of the Year and Best Video.

Both Shark and Owusu are nominated for Best Artist and Best Australian Live Act. Owusu’s Smiling With No Teeth is also up for Best Independent Release, Best Hip Hop Release and Best Cover Art. Find the full list of nominees here.

UK pop singer Ed Sheeran will make an appearance for a special video tribute to his late friend and industry guru, Michael Gudinski. Sheeran will present the inaugural Michael Gudinski Breakthrough Artist award. The night’s other presenters include previous ARIA winners Troye Sivan, Ruel and Lime Cordiale, as well as resurgent icons, The Wiggles.

The 2021 ARIA Awards will broadcast live from Sydney’s Taronga Zoo (on Cammeraigal land), beginning at 7.30pm AEDT on Wednesday, 24th November. The awards are streaming via YouTube and broadcasting live on 9Now.
