Aurora Announces 2025 Australian Tour

Aurora has announced her return to Australia for a headlining tour, set to take place in February 2025. The four-date run comes in support of her fifth studio album What Happened To The Heart?, which was released back in June. A full run of dates and ticketing information can be found below.

The Norweigan indie-pop singer-songwriter’s return visit is scheduled almost exactly two years on from her previous visit. She toured Australia circa March 2023, performing at that year’s WOMADelaide as well as a headlining show at the Sydney Opera House. Her 2025 dates, part of the fourth leg of her What Happened To The World? tour, are set to be her biggest-ever headlining shows locally – including the 5000-capacity Hordern Pavilion in Sydney and the 7500-capacity Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne.

Aurora first visited Australia in early 2017, performing at that year’s Laneway Festival in support of her debut album, 2016’s All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend. While in the country, she appeared on triple j‘s Like A Version segment to cover Massive Attack‘s 1998 signature song ‘Teardrop’. The cover proved to be extremely popular, with it ultimately ranking 54th in last year’s Like A Version Hottest 100.

She returned in 2019 as part of that year’s Groovin The Moo line-up, which also saw her perform a series of headlining shows and return to Like A Version – this time, performing The Beatles‘Across The Universe’. This also made it into the LAV Hottest 100, ranking 86th.
