Australia’s Wine Machine Festival Is Heading To A French Castle With A Juicy New Lineup

Australia’s Wine Machine music festival (AKA Hot Dub Wine Machine) has announced its first-ever international event, set to take place at a castle in the south of France during the European summer.

Machine du Vin, a three-day “music, wine, food and arts spectacular”, will make its debut on the grounds of the medieval L’Abbaye-Chateau de Camon in France’s Midi-Pyrenees region between August and September, with sets from the likes of Bonobo (DJ Set), What So Not, Tourist, 2mandjs (DJ Set) and, of course, Hot Dub Time Machine.

Also peppering the multinational lineup are the likes of Booka Shade, CC Disco, Claptone, Young Franco and Yuksek. Aside from all the music, organisers say there will also be local wines, wine stomping and long table lunches on offer.

In a statement, the Wine Machine team say Machine du Vin is “a dream” they’ve been working on for “a very long time”.

“Our Wine Machine events have taken place in some of the most breathtaking Australian wine regions, but nothing can compare to the absolute majesty of the South of France,” they say.

“We really have found the most magnificent spot in the world and can’t wait to go on a three-day French adventure with you come August.”

Wine Machine has previously hosted almost 100,000 people at vineyard festivals across Australia.
