Australia’s First Cruise Ship Festival Sea ‘N Beats Has Been Cancelled

Sea ‘N Beats, Australia’s first cruise ship festival, was due to set sail in March, however, it has been cancelled with organisers citing that there were too many challenges involved with hosting a festival at sea.

Organisers took to Facebook to announce the cancellation saying that they had looked at every possibility for the event to go ahead but could find no solution.

“Ultimately all parties involved concluded that conducting a music festival at sea comes with challenges that could not be overcome,” they wrote.

“We believe that the most appropriate decision was to not continue with the event.”

Ticket holders will be contacted via email and given a full refund. Ticket prices started at $960 and reached up to $2995 for the most expensive onboard cabin.

Alison Wonderland, Allday, Peking Duk, Hayden James and more were due to play. See the full statement below.
