Australia, You’re About To Cop A New Metal Festival On A Cruise Boat

A new metal festival appears to be sailing onto the Australian music festival calendar in the near future. The organisers of Good Things Festival have apparently commandeered Rock The Boat‘s vessel, and are teasing an imminent heavy metal rager aboard the high seas.

“Something HEAVY is coming”, Good Things promoters Destroy All Lines announced in a cryptic post on Instagram, which was shared in collaboration with Rock The Boat, a popular annual festival cruise with a mum-and-dad-friendly, nostalgic rock lineup (this year’s sold-out event features Jimmy Barnes, James Reyne and Ian Moss to give you the vibe). Anyway, it was accompanied by a photo of a majestic cruise ship sailing across the open ocean, with a B&W filter applied ofc because METAL.

The new festival appears to be entitled ‘GO TO HELL’, with the tagline “Where Metal Meets The Sea”.

“GO TO HELL and cruise into the abyss”, the post reads.

Punters can register for more info by clicking the Insta post above and commenting “#GoToHell” for a DM that will send you to a form to fill out all your info for further updates.

That’s all we know for now, but you can bet your poop deck we’ll keep you up to date. Ship yeah!
