Azealia Banks, best known for her tune 212, has released details on her up-and-coming EP 1991.
Fans have been waiting patiently for the EP to drop, with the performer announcing via Twitter that it will be in stores April 17, only to announce shortly after that it will be delayed. Banks attributed the lag in getting the release out to changing management, once again taking to Twitter:
“I just switched management.. Literally like three days ago, and have a whole new set of resources to take advantage of.”@AZEALIABANKS
The new release date has been locked in on May 29 digitally and June 12 physically. Until then we have been treated to the album art and the tracklist, which has at least one new track on it. Banks holds the EP in high regard, explaining that:
We’re gonna vamp this up and make it official.. No more ghetto mixes and closet recording.. I have a budget now! #brokewithexpensivetaste“@AZEALIABANKS
The tracklist is as follows:
1. 1991
2. Van Vogue
3. 212
4. Liquorice
