Ball Park Music Unveil Epic New Tune ‘Pariah’, The First Taste Of Their New Album

Indie five-piece band Ball Park Music have just given us a taste of their forthcoming fourth studio album.

The yet-to-be-named LP will be their first album since their hugely successful 2014 effort Puddinghead, and the first single is a seven-minute epic Pariah.

The track has come with a super trippy music video, but one that mirrors the ups and downs – and aural journey of Pariah perfectly.

The single release comes just days before their run of fan shows kicks off, with Ball Park set to play Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in the next few weeks. The shows were sneakily announced via Snapchat and email to their fans, selling out before a public announcement was even made.

Upon uploading Pariah to Facebook, the band also made a statement;

“We’ve always wanted to do a song like this. Jamming is a real joy, a crucial part of any good live performance and a helpful way to pass the time. Some of you may recall us winging sections like this when we play Literally Baby live. The middle section of this song was a live improvisation and was recorded in one take. The intro/outro was something Sam had been working on for a while and served as the perfect bookend for our hectos jam sesh. We think it’s a fruity addition to our catalogue and hope you enjoy it.”
