Big Day Out have released maps for all dates, and for BDO regulars and veterans there are some slight changes. The only big change that is worth noting is the separation of the Essential stages and the Skate Stage. The change of essential stages means that there will be a walk when wanting to catch Drapht then Foster the People then if Soundgarden doesn’t take your fancy, you may want to check out who the Special Guest is (Sydney Only), it’ll be a surprise and a half.
For the BDO attendees at Auckland, Perth and Adelaide, instead of two main-stages like the past events, there will only be one. The Big Day Out stage. This means that you wont have to move inbetween acts like The Special Guest into Kasabian into The Bronx into Soundgarden and be able to keep your front row position, and make friends with the security to ensure that you get the most water.
