Big Scary Release New Video ‘Twin Rivers’

Melbourne duo Tom Iansek and Joanna Syme a.k.a. Big Scary, have unveiled their latest video for the new single Twin Rivers, which comes off their sophomore studio effort, Not Art, released back in July to rave critical reviews and fan acclaim.

Directed by Shaun Garland (The Bell Jar), the clip focuses on the life of a praying mantis combatting the perils of life in a modern world. The video was designed by French architect Leo Dewitte, with the insect’s home based on Japanese architect Tadao Ando’s “iconic beach house.”

Accompanying the pair’s brand new video, Big Scary have also unveiled three hot new remixes of tracks from Not Art, by hip-hop maestro Dan The Automator, indie-rock Brooklynites The Antlers, and critically-acclaimed Portland rockers Menomena.

While Dan and The Antlers gave their personal touch to Twin Rivers, Menomena have turned Big Scary’s track Luck Now into an avant-garde epic. Readers can check out all three as well as the spectacular new video for Twin Rivers, below.
