Gold Coast duo Bleeding Knees Club have announced a run of Australian tour dates for this November to celebrate the launch of their new single Let It Go, the final single to be released off their current debut album Nothing to Do. These will be their last shows before they head off to the studio to lay down their new album.
The tour includes three special Under 18’s Only gigs in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Support on all dates will come from Sydney shred-rockers Step-Panther. Of the new single Let It Go, frontman Alex Wall says, “It’s actually one of my favourite songs on our album. It’s the first song me and Jordan ever wrote together, rather than separately. It’s all about keeping your cool, and not stressing out.”
Let It Go features doo-wop back-up vocals from members of Vivian Girls, The Like and Tearist, assembled in the studio by producer Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange). Recorded in New York City, Bleeding Knees Club’s debut album Nothing to Do was released in March and was rapturously received by both critics and the band’s passionate fan base.
