Veteran American rockers Blue Oyster Cult have added two headlining dates in Melbourne and Sydney alongside their dates on the Dig It Up! Festival tour.
The band, who are embarking on their first visit to Australia in more than four decades, will do special shows at The Hi-Fi in Sydney and The Prince Bandroom in Melbourne. And, there’s no support act – it’s all about them, so get ready for a loooooong show!
Revered by punks, metalheads, sci-fi geeks and horror movie fans alike, Blue Oyster Cult have amassed a formidable reputation with their complex hard rock albums and killer live shows. Most recently, they released The Complete Columbia Albums Collection, a 16 CD/1 DVD box set comprising all their studio albums from 1972-1988 as well as three live albums, a rarities disc and the appropriately named radio broadcast collection Radios Appear.
Tickets for both of these shows are $60 each and go on sale next Monday, 11th March.
